I was trying to set up a dedicated server with the supplied server.cfg. Simply enabling the bots with :
set bot_enable "1"
set bot_minplayers 2
will most certainly cause a
"Error: weapon out of range" (and then connect to the server to find some funny acting bots :-)
If I add some "addbot clint 2" (or similar statements) into the d1 varaibles (or the other varaibles) after the map command, I have better chances to get a working server, but not always.
This is on Linux with both the q3ded and the quake.x86 executable.
Am I doing something stupid ? Or is this a bug ? Something similar works for regular base Quake3
