Hello from The Dirty 30s - gangster mod team!

Jebbus guys....this mod is sick! Outstanding! How did you do something this good? this is the most impressive mod I have seen since DoD. I really am mouth open...

Why is there not more servers busy?

Well, we are still sluggin away with our 1930s gangster mod - The Dirty 30s. I'd love to show you our humble effort and see what you guys think. Basically, TDT is the same thing as Wq3, but on the q3 engine...and 50 years later LOL. Seriously, it would be a great help to us if we could get your feed back.

Also...

Curious if Iron Claw was ever thinking of moving to Wolf...? A free stand-alone is coming out called WOLFENSTIEN: Enemy Territory. I imagine the FREE stand alone deal will make a it a great game to have a mod for. Lots of people will be playing it.

PS heh Gen Tsu

Cheers

The guy who made the Wild West (wolf mod) is named Hewie. He's a great guy. WW is the ONLY TC mod for wolf atm, btw. Its very good too. But I have to admit that its just not the same as qwa. great effort for a single guy though (minus his maps).

But, this new Enemy Territory is going to be a free stand-alone...so I'd expect a lot more traffic for us wolf modders.

My curiousity is what a q3 coder thinks of the the wolf code.

Hate to kind of cut into conversation like this, but as a Quake 3 coder (though not much, I mean, I know hardly ANYTHING about coding..like...3 or 4 things, really :P), I found the RTCW code to be a total fucking mess. Formatting was confusing, lots and LOTS of data that wasn't seperated well.

But, I never bothered playing with it since I'm not code-savvy enough to know how to compile it. My Q3 code compiling was done using cheap batch file methods. :)
