heyho,
here a preview of the dropped weapon:

and here a the held weapon, the mistake on the handle is already gone

and here a pic of the texture itself

sadly this was most probably the only chance i had to use milkshape for a long while-thats why there is no shot of the held weapon without errors. furthermore,to use this version the .ms3d (milkshape file) of the original would be needed,as i couldnt import the animations. so someone with milkshape and the ms3d originals of the remington could do me a great favor by replacing the remington in the file with the new one. iif this one will still not make it into wq3 ,ill be happy to at least try it ingame. i have an weapon-icon too. i would like to send anyone who would do me the favor the files needed.
well ill add another poll, maybe red could delete the old one.

I tried putting your new skin in a pk3, but it looks ugly in-game. Lots of black spots on the gun. Is there something else I need to do to get it to look right?

Hard for me to cast a vote without "before and after" game screenshots. The pics you have here look nice though. I'm not in the habit of deleting threads but I suppose I could lock the other one.

A sterling effort but I don't wan't to sound like a kill joy (or put you off having another go) but I prefer the old one (at a glance).

Any chance of a before and after side by side? :)
