Finally, a new western movie coming soon! Looks like it might be pretty good.

And who was gracious enough to pass you the link? ;)

Nah, s'kidding.

Great to see that Mangold's making another pretty kewl flick. (this is not only from the guy who did Walk The Line - he also did the totally awesome Copland!) And Russell Crowe seems to be doing an example of what the character he played in Quick & The Dead used to be like - which to me is geeky and cool. :D

Plus, Christian Bale. One of the best actors of our time. 8)

Wow! I had completely missed this. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

It's a remake of a Glenn Ford movie with Russel Crowe taking on the Ford part. Story by Elmore Leonard. He knows how to tell a good story; Jackie Brown, Get Shorty...

Not to mention all the western novels he wrote early in his career. Another excellent film made from one of his stories is Valdez Is Coming.

Seriously glad this remake didn't go off with the original intent of Tom Cruise. This looks like it'll be quite good in this incarnation.

Sigh, the original is yet another thing I need to watch. As if I wasn't already behind on last year's films.
