Thought I would mention that "They Call Me Trinity" is available for free download at the Internet Archives.

Glad to be of service. Internet Archives is a real treasure trove. In feature movies alone, there are many early B-movie westerns, as well as classsics like Rashomon and M, by Fritz Lang.

Not to mention oodles of Grateful Dead shows! : )

Though that's probably more meaningful to some of us than others. Still, great cross-interest: the Dead's "Me and My Uncle" has a good Western shoot-out theme. It's about a pair of Denver cowboys finding themselves in West Texas. They get into a card game, someone accuses someone else of cheating and next thing you know there is shooting, looting, high-tailing it and double-crosses.

Lyrics here:'

One of many archive.org live versions here: http://www.archive.org/download/gd73-07 ... 6_64kb.mp3

And now I'll get off my high horse and let you return to your normal programming... (It's a Grateful Dead Joke: *high* *horse*... : 0 )

OK, I admit I'm not that up on Spaghetti westerns beyond the clint ones, but that was a hoot! I really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like is the number of fistfights vs. gunfights. I'd like more shooting.

Odd remarks: The theme song says "He keeps alive with his Colt .45." but he appears to carry a S&W Schofield, and a Remington '58, never a Colt. They never explain the change in guns, in the store when he shows off, he's got a S&W, but the rest of the movie it appears to be Remington. Things that make me go hmmm...

Continuity? In a cheap b-movie?

....BWAHAHHAHAHAHA!

Sorry, I'm kidding. Sad to hear there's a bit of a major error there. :\

I haven't watched this yet. I'll get around to it.

It's more of a spoof of the spaghetti genre than anything. But I've watched it several times through the years & enjoy it. 8) The sequel is pretty funny too. Here's the funniest clip from Trinity is Still My Name.

I just spotted God's Gun, with Jack Palance and Lee Van Cleef. Haven't downloaded it yet, since at the moment Internet Archive dl's are uselessly slow. The url is http://www.archive.org/details/Gods_Gun.avi
