Fuckin A. Red Dead Revolver was awesome.

I pre ordered this for my 360 when I pre ordered Killzone2 for PS3.

It should be pretty sick as it uses Rockstars Rage engine (GTA4).

Looks like you PC only guys are outta luck as it is console exclusive

Sweet..... now I just need to find a 360 so I can play it. I loved the first one... practically memorized the damn thing.

I liked the style of the first one but the gameplay is pretty mediocre (hear me out) if you only play it ignoring the combo system. As I am not a fan of combo systems this dragged the game down a notch or two through no real fault of its own. It was still an above average game, in my opinion and it really captured the style of italo-western craziness. The soundtrack was outstanding too.
It's good to see a sequel either way though, if only to see that western games are still being made, regardless of what you may think about this particular title.

On the old generation, I have to say I liked Gun a lot better, despite its flaws.

to be honest, one of the main reasons im buying it is for the multiplayer. this video log (vlog) from Rockstar Games (the guys who made Red Dead, as well as the Grand Theft Auto series)

basically, you and hundreds of others, online in one massive open world, exploring/fighting/hunting together as a possey.

it sounds epic.

I was seriously considering buying an xbox because of this game but i came to the conclusion that i don't want it enough to spare the money :D I don't really like the autoaim thing they have or fps games in general for consoles. The world and everything in it does look pretty amazing though...

Well it's certainly fun and the world is very beautiful but the single player mode is well, somewhat disappointing in its linearity. It is very much a carbon copy of GTA's gameplay style, but then, what can you expect from Rockstar?

I just think with such a great world, there could have been so many other options for the player, like forming and fighting gangs, robbing banks at your leisure, forming vigilante groups, getting married and forming a business, profiting from successful trading, living like a true survivalist (not just collecting different plants as it is now), I could go on forever, maybe it is too much to ask of a game these days.

But as darkweaver mentioned, the multiplayer looks as if it is the highlight of the game, I'll be sure to give it a try soon.

You can pick out various references to several different well known Westerns; scenes, mini-plots and scurvy characters. You can turn auto-aim off and just use your skill. They did a nice job with the graphics. The Bandito outfit is fun. :D
