New Western Game this summer?

Wow, the screenshots look pretty good! 8O Since Ubisoft is handling this title maybe it'll be a good game? The American site is a little slow so give it time to load. UK site seems better.

Here's some streaming vids I found for it. The gameplay looks very promising, imo.

Seems the single player demo is out for this game now. I'm downloading it now & will post my opinions here later.

I gave it a shot awhile ago and the first thing to say is that I have not had load times like that since SiN back in 1998. That was just....well...yeah. :?

The game itself has great presentation and some great ideas, but the optimization of the engine is poor and there's some vague level design in the first level, NOT a good sign. It could work out, but if it's anything better than Red Dead Revolver (the best western game this side of Sunset Riders 8)), color me in Surprise! paint.

I dig the storyline and some of the gritty texture to it, though. Like I said, great presentation.

Red Dead is the reason I got WQ3! I loved Red Dead but its not for PC and Gun isnt multyplayer. Does this one have a multyplayer mode? (sites to big for dial-up so I cant find out for myself)

The sp demo has a multiplayer button that's greyed out. The website also confirms that it'll have multiplayer with various gametypes. Riding the horse wasn't as big a thrill as I had hoped but the graphics are really nice. The higher you set your options, the slower the levels load. And I thought BF2 had long load times. The higher settings also bring my pc to a crawl. Haven't seen that happen with this rig till now. Still, the game has a lot of neat stuff & beautiful environments. Shootouts in the streets make me feel like I'm starring in an old western movie! 8)

Call of Juarez ..yes its western game... even made by polish guys... even from my town...even ....damn based on some my ideas...which they got long time ago from me ..
Game has average single player- generally is ok....Script is ok...some mission are better some worst..
But rest is crap..a specially all mulitplayer system
What is terrible for me ....indeed engine ..which is "heavy" and ignoration of historical accuracy.....weapons looks not realistic and working also not too realistic... Revolvers are shooting as mashine guns... you reloading you colt within 3 second.. ..Riffle maybe 5...
Animation and physic is also terrible ....Your Mod offer much more..
