ReD NeCKersoN wrote::wink: Hardly anyone complains about campers in this game. (They usually just try to sneak up on them.) Do whatever works for ya till you get a feel for wq3.

Camping is a way to play. Stealth play is another efficient way.
So, Rev_Blueduck, one advise I can give you is to use the walk button, make no sound and kill some campers with knife
Anyway, I will be there in this Sunday's test session.
See ya there, then (at the right time) !

Btw,
- the apparent "half-freeze" after two timeouts was caused by a syntax error in the "nextmap" cvar - so it's a pure user error ;-) ... I'll cut down or disable the map rotation for tonight.

That was another fun session, and also quite useful for this stuttering problem - in case you were wondering why I was spectating all the time ;-)

@blueduck - see, I suck quite badly (too). OTOH during the BR modes it was relatively even among you guys.

Perhaps, we have seen those who have many hours behind them :D
BTW, that was really fun this week end, except the funny colors of mine that come quite often (see this topic).
I will post some other screenshots there.

Anyway, I'm looking forward for the next test (and play) session ;)

Hey, for future test session, why not using the calendar, as we have seen some echoes about, in that topic ?
However, I'm just wondering if the events can be filtered as the forums are.
I don't think SG people want the event to be full public, especially about testing beta version ...

I've thought about the calendar, too. However, hopefully all beta testers read the beta tester forum ;-) ... and don't need to be "collected" with a calendar - but then again, it can't hurt the beta testers

About the publicity ... well, anybody who fires up his server browser (or keeps an eye on bootlbok.de) will see when a testing session is in progress. On the positive side, I think it's ok to make it somewhat transparent and let everybody see that the testers and SG are actually doing something. Just my opinion, though :-) ....

I hesitate to plan testing for this weekend. Been working some overtime at my job this week & I'm not sure if I'll have the new version of CB ready in time. Adding a 2nd entrance to the escape takes more time than simply putting a hole in a wall. :? I'll have to see if I get enough done for it by Friday. So if we do test, it'll be short notice but I'll use the calendar as well as post in this forum.

Just take the time you need, Red ;)
We sure prefer a good map release than having a test session this weekend at any cost.
BTW, I don't remember mentioning *this* weekend, by saying next test session ;)

For every update on my test server, I will try to be as reactive as the other weekend.
