One topic is enough for the same question, so I removed the other thread you started. Most of us here don't use Mac so I don't know how much service we can be to you. But you can start by looking at this post.
Searching GOOGLE for OP_BLOCK_COPY not dword aligned shows a lot of hits, so you might investigate there too.

This is the post I was talkin about Red. He posted just before the site went down and the posts were lost..

This error is a problem we need to address or so it seems from what I read...

Oh, I see. We're passing this onto our coders in a private area of the forum, but we'll let you know what happens djazz. Thank you for bringing this to our attention & I hope it can be fixed. :)

Just to add to what Red said; I did a quick search for it as well, and it looks like Tremulous had the same problem with their mod. They fixed it by releasing a patch..... so its most likely a WQ3 bug, not something you're doing.

This is a bug with the mod and not on his end. I have posted a workaround in our private section..

I will add the "fix", before releasing any other mod version.
Unfortunately, I cannot test it on my own ... but I hope it would be OK, since Tremulous had it.

I haven't seen hika around lately but I'll see if I can find him. Would be nice to know if this is fixed or not.

Thanks for reminding me that problem.
The "fix" (erm ... workaround ugly hack) is now applied in the Smokin' Guns source tree.
Unfortunately, I could not build the engine for Mac users, myself.

Thanks to n0rpan for reminding me about this on IRC. 8)

sigg11 is probably our best bet if he has time to set up & compile. I'll ask him. I think I also know another mac user who claims to be capable of the task, if need be. I'll try to find a way to make it happen this week so I can include it in the tester package.
