Do you only have problems with some maps? Which ones?

You might have the wrong versions or something.

hobo, I know you and boss429 seem to log on from the same place. In fact, I often see "boss429" logging in, but then "hobo64" enters the game. Are you on networked computes sharing a router? You could be exceeding your bandwidth or something; I don't know enough about networking to say, but some of the other members might be able to help.

Hi Hobo,

If this happens while loading either Backwater or Highnoon2 try to download both maps "manually" (check the threads in the feedback forum for links) and "install" them in your game folder. Do not rely on the "ingame" download option. That can be terribly slow (even in a LAN) ...

im not sure what all the maps r that it can't load but a couple r: durango bank robery and backwater. I have manuely instaled backwater and highnoon2 but i'll try to reinstall them. I don't think its the bandwith because it works on some of the maps, so i dont know why some would be differnt, but yess me and boss429 r brothers and we share the same router and modem. i also have sbc dsl.
also backwater and durango br never load all the way they always get stuck on snapshot.

Try this if you haven't already: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sup ... 2.htm#Tip6

Btw, you should make sure you play nice on RAWHIDE. Set him straight Boss.

Uhhh.... left click on it and read the page that opens? It's instructions for setting up Q3 when you have more than one player on a home network. I believe this might fix your problem. If it doesn't fix it, at least it won't hurt anything and it's a simple procedure. Maybe your brother can help you with this?

You should also see if the problem maps load all the way in singleplayer. If they don't, then you have other problems.

Try loading one of the problem maps, then hit the ~ key to bring down the console. Any errors should be displayed there. Tell us what it says.
