Weekly SA & map revision testing anyone?

Postby ReD NeCKersoN » Tue Feb 06, 2007 2:54 am

Seems feedback is a little slow so far. I think it'd be beneficial (and fun) if we had a weekly test session? Worked out pretty good for the 2.2 testing so maybe this would be a good idea. I figure every Saturday or Sunday at a set time would work. One map per session for an hour or so ought to be enough?

Most likely, I can't make it this weekend. If I can, I'll jump on of course ...

Harmonica: No. You brought two too many.

Count me in.
I should be there, either Saturday or Sunday, evening GMT+1.
By the way, I might post a new pakZ just to (try to) keep track of bugs, like "buy menu disappear", "akimbo: one pistol drawn" ...

I can make it every sunday and on most saturdays. The time is fine for me.

But I can't take part in testing every saturday. That's whensoever our dart-team has got a game in our local dart league.
This weekend there's a dart tournament on saturday, but I'm not sure at the moment if I'll participate. So maybe I'll take part in testing the SA on saturday.

In any case I like the idea of weekly test sessions :!: :)

My weekend schedules vary from week to week, but whichever day is best for the most testers, I'll try and ride on in.

I should be available either day. I'll put the SA on The Horsemens windows computer and probably try out my Linux version :)

Due to some trouble with Durango reported in this thread, an updated pk3 will not be ready today. It may or may not be ready tomorrow. Since not many testers have replied in this thread so far, and our turnout might be very low, I would prefer not to rush myself for a new pk3. It might be best just to wait & begin our test sessions starting with next weekend. Sorry for the delay. :?

I have a family gathering today so it looks like I won't be around this afternoon. An updated br maps pk3 is still not ready. Don't let that stop anyone from testing today if they feel like it though. Just keep in mind you will see some major bugs in some of the revised maps. Might be best to just pick one map that appears to be ok & give it a thorough walkthrough. I'd like to reccomend Santa Cruz since it's most recent.

I've neglected the revisions this week due to my job & other things. So I'm very sorry to say it is unlikely I will have a new pk3 ready this weekend.
