It gives me some comfort that you guys are confused, because I'm totally lost. Here's what I did: downloaded the wq3_b22_sa_engine03_game01.zip file to my Linux machine and then didn't know how to get it to run in Linux. Dolny has a different problem from mine, and I shouldn't even have jumped into his thread. I should have just asked how to install the SA in Linux. :?

OK, I have split and moved the topic. I hope you (DeUgli) will find it here ;-)

Simply unzip wq3_b22_sa_engine03_game01.zip and run wquake3 (without any extension) that is inside Westernquake3. With that you have an early version of beta2.2.

To get the final beta2.2 you need to unpack e.g. wq3_b22_update.zip inside Westernquake3 (and let it replace e.g. wq3_pak3.pk3).
In-game name: =SG= Django (yes, it's cliché :-) )
