awaiting snapshot?

Postby ChainLightnin' » Sun Jul 15, 2007 2:29 am

Hope not a silly question, but when I tried to go to the test site (currently Coyote Bluff) it loads up fine until it gets to "awaiting snapshot", then stops. Did I miss a new download?
Thanks,
Chain

Hi Chain,

have a look here: http://www.westernquake3.net/viewtopic.php?t=1092... I think it's a server problem... And I think hika changed something, afterwards it worked again...

Cheers,

Thanks Clintstone,
That works for me. I'll try it again later.

Well, it seems that it still happens even with another Quake 3 engine.
Another annoying and "hard to fix" bug ...

The less I can do now is to run a dedicated test server, at home, with the same config file and see if it happens again ...
For now, the temporary solution is to restart the "public" test server each time.
