Rawhide problems

Postby DeUgli » Sun Jan 04, 2009 11:21 pm

Currently, Rawhide map rotation seems to be broken. Also, I had this strange occurance-- I played a map, and it was over. Then, even though I clicked ready, the map wouldn't start again. (Only bots were on besides me.)
I quit and came back in okay. Then I noticed this:
Image After much less than the regulation 20 minutes, the map quit with a timelimit hit message. After that, everything was okay.

Voting seems to do that. Causes other wierdness too I think. The best I can do is reset the server once a day.

RAWHIDE has been moved to a more powerful server by my provider. (At no cost to me I might add.) Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the list & I can't connect to it manually either. Hopefully we'll get this straightened out soon. The new IP is 75.102.47.53:27960

Good that I had a look here before starting the game and wondering where it had gone then. :)
Nice with providers that does such things. Hope you get it sorted soon then ReD, good luck.

I copied the ip from your message and specified it in Monster Browser, and it let me on.

As far as I know it's still in VA. The location normally shows up in serverspy (my sig) but that doesn't seem to be working at the time of this post.

http://www.qxmon.net/q3mon-spy.pl?70.38.22.170:27960

Ha Ha.. It's in Quebec, CA (I operate and am the tech contact for it)

sparcdr@xray-lan ~$ whois 70.38.22.170
iWeb Technologies Inc. IWEB-BLK-05 (NET-70-38-0-0-1)
70.38.0.0 - 70.38.127.255
Twoxhost IWEB-CL-T117-460CL-600 (NET-70-38-22-168-1)
70.38.22.168 - 70.38.22.175

Unless somehow I can magically use a locked IPv4 range, then that site is wrong.

http://geotool.servehttp.com/?ip=70.38.22.17 (Actually accurate...)

75.102.47.53 is in Buffalo, NY according to geotool, but traceroute from here shows it going through Dallas, Texas -> Ashburn, Virgina -> Chicago, Illinois -> Buffalo, NY (Based on traceroute reverse lookup names, geotool, whois) But it may be indeed in NY for all you know... only way to tell is figure out what Server Central Network 7 means in terms of geography.
