Hi, cowboys. Who does not know, now you can see which servers are now online in the network. In the column "Query" select master server - Link to SGMONITOR.

Postby dansh » Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:44 pm

Hello. You can see a web interface for master server : master.q3alive.net at http://master.q3alive.net.

Administration of the site, please to remove the old topic, it no longer relevant: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3029, thanks in advance.
Edit: Tequila moved your post to the "no longer" relevant topic. This way, it simply fix the related topic itself. I fixed also the topic title to your new subject.

Hi, March 20-21 will be observed interruptions in the master server master.q3alive.net. The server moves to another data center and changing ip address.

Due to incompatibilities 1.1b5a with previous versions SG, added a new master server master2.q3alive.net, listen only heartbeat smokinguns (1.1b5a).

Any chance for our local MonsterBrowser as one of possible launchers?

Here you list supported game launchers: Qtracker, HLSW, KQUERY, XFIRE. Have you investigated whether you can support Monsterbrowser? Note, I do not know, whether this is possible.

These launchers run the game, through its Protocol (Qtracker through qtracker://, HLSW through hlsw://, etc.).
That is, it would make sense if MonsterBrowser will be installed in the default folder and if it will have its own protocol, for example, monsterbrowser://.
I think this can be done by editing the registry, but it's unlikely anyone will do.

Sorry, MB doesn't have this feature. I think it would make more sense to have a tool that only does this. It could handle different kinds of URLs, Qtracker, Xfire, etc. Maybe someone already has created such a tool?

I think I would just copy the address, start SG, open the console, type "connect ", press CTRL+V, press Enter. It's quick once you get used to it, but of course more trouble than just clicking a link.
In game: =SG=monSter

Maybe if add these techniques for MonsterBrowser, then it should work:
