yea i think so to, but it takes some figuring to get the lights right.

Looks cool! Just be careful with the lighting. Some people don't like dark\night style maps ...

Trust me I know a thing or two about night maps and lightning :lol:

HI

I got a problem, iv created some .ase models and imported them to the map but when i imported the latest on -a couch- to the map and compiled it and was going to load up the map. I could load the map spawn but when i moved the map closed an i got this mesage "RB_CheckOverflow:verts>Max[1716>]"

When i removed the model and recompiled it the map worked fine.

Hello, the night map is ditched for now due to some ratio problems, but im working on a new map, now to the question, How do i create a sliding door, like them in Tillian and Backwater. i have searched the web but found nothing.

the Smokin' Guns mapping tools pack comes with two door entities:
func_door_rotating
func_door

use the func_door_rotating to create rotating doors, and use the func_door to create sliding, falling, or raising doors:

press "n" to open the enties window and change the spawnflags to the correct axis.
