Problem with compiling a EasyGen map

Hey Guys
I tried to make a map whit EasyGen but when I want to compil I always get this errow

************ ERROR ************
LoadPCX: Couldn't read test.pcx

I don't know what i had done wrong. I followed ReD NeCKersoNs turial (EasyGen - Making Terrain) step by step.

This .pcx files is used for q3map2 to apply the right texture on your terrain.
This file is either missing, or it is in the wrong directory.

Joe is correct. Start EasyGen & go to File/Preferences. Then check the path of your work mod. In my case it's c:\program files\smokin' guns\smokinguns
Your .pcx files would be saved to that folder... & if you set up q3map2 correctly, that's where it's looking for them.

When you export your map, I suggest exporting your .pcx into textures/youmap

[thumb=http://forum.smokin-guns.org/userpix/357_1_3.jpg][timg]357_1_3.jpg[/timg][/thumb]

This way your maps textures and your .pcx are in the same directory and you don't have to worry about things going missing.

I have made some pictures of the problem
the pcx file is in the right directory and it isn't missing but i get this error

Are you able to compile dm_test1.map that came with the mapping package? Looking at your compile output, you are not setting your fs_basepath. This means that even if it was able to find test.pcx it still would not be able to find your shaders and your textures. You map would be filled with gray box textures.

You need to add "-fs_basepath "C:\Program Files\Smokin' Guns" to the compile stages:

I 'm able to finish dm_1.map but as you said thera are a lot of gery boxes
