Smokin' Guns/manual/game.html#started

Postby jkn » Mon Jan 05, 2009 1:33 pm

Smokin' Guns/manual/game.html#started has lines:
"MAC/Linux users: After having downloaded the appropriate files, you will have to extract them to your Quake3 folder (e.g. "/usr/local/games/quake3/", for Linux Systems)."

Since this is a stand alone release, you don't need quake3. You can extract where ever you want. /usr/local/games/ is a good place.

It also has lines: "So if you have no shortcut, create one by using "quake3.exe" and adding this to the target-line:
"+set fs_game westernq3"."

Again you don't need this, because this is a stand alone release.

Is anybody making a debian package of Smokin' guns?
