So basically it's the spread-settings which are also noted down by torhu (with the exception that i seem to have sharps 100 and he wrote, it's set to 200 - i guess torhu's topic lacks an update there):

Yes, the value in 100 in the code.

Do you have an "stdout.txt" file somewhere ? This one should come from SDL and can be the complete out put of your client.

Such a file doesn't exist on my PC.

Can you try setting system ENV var SDL_STDIO_REDIRECT to 1 ?

This Variable didn't exist on my System yet. But i created it now and set it to 1. Anyhow: I opened the game, started a map, closed the game and still there's no "stdout.txt" on my whole Harddisk.

But this is Smokin'Guns, a game with its own feelings and you won't have railgun with it.

Btw I think I found a bug, thanks to your obstinacy ;)
This bug may explain why you got such a bad spread with riffles... Are you a fan of sharp + scope ? Because, it seems riffles spread is just doubled when you have used scope with sharp... And it seems you made your video after a "give all"... This means you had "sharp +scope" in your inventory.

So please, can you try again the winchester without using "give all", but "give money" or just go and get the winchester in Alamo ? You should see a difference...

I just tested to be sure, and this bug applies to the gatling too. I've corrected my stats post, and added a note about this bug in the SCOPE section at the bottom.

I found some old docs about the scope states from when I was working on b2.2. Pasted here. Maybe they can come in handy sometime.

Not at all, but i pick up all sort of weapons in a battle.

And it seems you made your video after a "give all"

correct

This means you had "sharp +scope" in your inventory.

yup

Altough i still think, a rifle should be a more accurate.

Here aswell two Vids which show the trouble with Players who 'camp' at a place where you can only see/shoot at their head. The worst thing is, that at the same time they are able to shoot at your full body. Since Spread is supposed to be even higher during running/walking, consider that in reality it is very much impossible to shoot those players.

Like you will aswell notice, aiming is already hard enough on that distance due to being forced to fov 90 (which is fine and great). But having additionally spread, makes it ridiculous to even shoot at those heads (i personally stopped shooting at them since there is no way you hit them, unless you got a lucky spread once in a while.. but it's seriously not worth the wasted ammo).

Having a zoom-option for rifles (where you e.g. are able to reduce fov to ~70) would make rifles useful in such i-only-see-head cases.

Enough written - here are the vids:
