how to pause and fast forward demo's

Postby mLy! » Fri Mar 05, 2010 4:29 pm

I made a little config with a script to pause and fast forward demos.
SG does not have an UI for this and some people were asking me about this.

all info here: http://sg-wars.forumotion.net/general-d ... s-t142.htm

The link to the demoviewer.cfg file from your other forum post doesn't.

@Pardner: Thanks ;)

Btw a cool stuff would be also to be able to rewind in the demo :)

Download link is updated and works now.

Rewinding is not possible with a script, need to code that in the game/engine

Some of their old code is available, but not their newest version. Would be cool to integrate it into our game :D

So was a little bored and I remembered Q3MME and I went looking through their forums and I discovered this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/quake3mme/

Oh yes, their code has been published! Hope Futsin see this ;)

And a few newer threads which all lead to the same answer: no code.

You posted that link before, have you seen this one:
http://q3mme.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... thread=265

I guess I was excited because the SF page has quake3mme-1.33.4.1-src.zip and the las source of Q3MME I had was v1.52. But now that I look at it the date is 2006-04-08 :(

If I recall correctly, the only available source code of q3mme is incomplete and outdated.
