Hard to say which is BEST. But my favorites are br_train & dm_train just because I have the most fun there.

DM_DRY
I think this map plays the most like the original Q3 style deathmatch: fast matches, quick frags, reckless berserker shooting, etc. It was also the first map that Red demonstrated how the shotguns can be used to shoot through walls!

BR_ELPASO! big map (I like big ones cause people can use some guns they normally dont use, like sniper or rifles...), very strategic gameplay, and its one of the most well developed ones, talking about level of details...

My favorites are dm_fort and dm_dry. Some maps I would like more but they cause too much lag, maybe because of complex design, such as dm_backwater.

like some have said, it is hard to choose favorites. But I do really like dm_dry and br_cobber. Both provide nice fps's on low machines and are designed well with fun gameplay.

I suspect this is because of the light maps. If you turn them down, it shouldnt lag as much or at all.

definetly dm_dry and br_alamo. the alamo is also a good spot for team deathmatch or round teamplay.

I learnt to play this game on Cobber - and always had a soft spot for it.

I love the feel of all the maps :D . But I usually play san cuchillo, dawn fort, coyote bluff and dry gulch with a few of my friends on a Hamachi server ^^
