Hitboxes please... I smell something fishy around here!

Can anyone tell me what is the command to show hitboxes? I smell something real fishy here!

Load the map with /devmap (or cheats enabled in general) and set cg_drawBBox to 1.

However;
SG comment by torhu and Tequila:
Be aware that the bounding box drawn is not the real hitbox. And because
of the locational damage, it wouldn't be that useful to see the hitbox anyway.
See UpdateBoundingBox in bg_pmove.c to see how the bounding box is updated.


There's a video about SGfork including hitboxes, but I don't know whether those match the real ones.

Hmm... I'm more interested in hit location boxes and stuff. It's just somehow strange, I shoot the guy in head, either the hit doesn't register or it says I hit him in the groin. Well, I will try it out anyway.

Smokin' Guns is not Quake 3, thus you should keep the code comment about the hitboxes in mind. Plus I always have the feeling that Unlagged was not implemented properly in SG.

It seems like SGfork has at least a specialized display of hitboxes, but I can't tell whether they match vanilla SG.
