Ok, I'll update soon deb-packages, and add depending package curl.

Edited:
Add dependency curl.

No, currently not. I would like to reserve green for chat. Any other color you would like me to use?

Almost nobody is using yellow at the end of his name, so i think it would be a good choice.

A cvar \cg_hitmsgcolor is now available, taking any single character or digit as color code. Example: \cg_hitmsgcolor 2 (2 = green).

I'm late, but anyway happy brithday ballerbude.
Time passes so fast.
Thank you for \cg_hitmsgcolor, the new amazing looking loading screen, the new maps and all the hard work which was put into ballerbude to improve it.
Some small criticism.
I noticed that the start money has changed to 27$.
In my eyes it degrades the balancing, because you don't need to earn your weapons, you get a peacemaker or a shotgun for free. So its less important to get a fast first kill, pick up or save money and you don't care so much if you die.
That means you pass the awesome decision(to buy or not to buy) with low hp.
However giving rifles to the bots and reducing their price was a nice idea.

This was not a conscience decision, but if at all, an oversight by me, which I now corrected.

Assassin asked me whether it was possible to play with unlimited money and I responded by showing him \g_startingMoney 200. However, I was in real hurry, when I set it back and somehow I accidentally did set it back to 27. Then again, I've played quite a few games recently, it's really strange I've overlooked it all the time. Guess I was busy buying expensive weapons :-p

<smartass>
You can also do a "/reset <cvarname>" or just exec your default server settings config again.

Hey, when my brother wants to play and i activated cl_autodownload 1
He is getting a fault it says: autodownload is not activated on this server or something like this.
Then I downloaded the newest monster browser and then it was able to download ? What's the problem ?

First, it's \cl_allowDownload 1.

Bart202 wrote:He is getting a fault it says: autodownload is not activated on this server

Your brother uses a client which is incapable of HTTP downloads, e.g. the SG1.0 client. He should download, install and use the client of SG1.1. If he uses Linux, he should look for error messages regarding libCurl.

As I've written in this topic previously, there are two download mechanisms built into Smokin-Guns: the first, controlled by sv_allowdownload, where the game server really does host the files, appending parts of a file to messages sent to the client. This is the old way, which does not work on BB because it is slow and (possibly) a security risk for the server. The more modern way is to host the files externally via HTTP and set the CVar sv_dlURL accordingly. From the messages above, I conclude the client does not support the second method.

All Baller Bude needs to provide is the sv_dlURL server info entry. Then it's up to everybody's client to download from the specified location.

Let your brother check the executable he's using. I predict, it differs in size from the executable you're using.
