It's all gone dark in here!

I've just had to re-install SG as everything went dark in my previous installation. During start up the brightness boost didn't kick in meaning all the maps were too dark to see - even the in game brightness control didn't work (it dumpes an error to the log each time I used it).

Things are working now but it was all a bit odd. Shortly before this happened I lost all my config too.

Weird but I'm back in the saddle now.

hi -- this is a common problem in q3-engine games

setting r_ignorehwgamma 1 should do the trick

(if you set it ingame, do a /vid_restart after)


then you should be able to use the brightness control panel again.. or just adjust brightness with r_gamma
