modem router

Postby Lon' » Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:38 pm

i got problem when I set up a server using a modem router and a d-link.
I actly use a modem speed stream routted and a D - link wirelless to share the net for my sister's notebook.

every time i create a server the configuration of the server is:
]/ net_restart
Opening IP socket: localhost:27960
Hostname: cliente
IP: 192.168.0.137

so the server never shows my real IP and no one can access it lookin on the list.
I ve tried to open the port 27960 (both udp and tcp) of my modem router configuraton (port forward), of the D-link wireless and also of the firewall of the windows. its alredy opened. but nothings happen.

Then i try to settin using one of my reals IPs using: net_IP
for example:189.105.35.42 / 201.50.... and others but I got an error
sayin
]net_restart
Opening IP socket: 189.105.35.42:27960
WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: bind: WSAEADDRNOTAVAIL
Opening IP socket: 189.105.35.42:27961

Opening IP socket: 189.105.35.42:27969
WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: bind: WSAEADDRNOTAVAIL
WARNING: Couldn't allocate IP port

and also nothin happen.

to resolve this problem so I decide to reset the modem to factory configuration and then I configurate the modem in bridge mode not in router modem and I discarded the D-link wiriless and then I after this I got the real IP and my server shows on list, but I cant share anymore my net with the other pC with this procedure off course.

So I decide let the modem in router mode.

is there any procedure to resolve this?
