Resources to make music

Postby garbanzo » Sun Dec 02, 2012 1:20 am

Hi everyone. I know there is Audacity or other software like LMMS to make music, but i was wondering if anyone knows any webpage or the like with free samples of western music/and/or/instruments of western music in order to make some track for Smokin' guns ?
I'm not a pro musician but i would like to give it a try in my spare time if i had some cool samples to mix with...
Thanks for any info and sorry for my English

I'm not a musician at all, but I dare to suggest that you search in Jamendo (http://www.jamendo.com/en/search#qs=q=t ... western%22). Beware that not all music pieces have suitable license.
If you are also looking for audio snippets, Freesound (http://www.freesound.org/) is a real mine of Creative Commons licensed sound samples.

Thanks Biondo. I've searched Jamendo before but they only have already made tracks and I was thinking it could be better to start from scratch...
I'll check the Freesound.org website (did not know that one !) for samples/audio snippets. Thanks again.
