Beta testing in 1.1 RC1

The first Release Candidate is ready.

Official download: RC1/sg_1.1rc1.zip
You can download it on mod DB here.
Mirrors: parttimegeeks.

Change between 1.1b5a and 1.1rc1:
- master server were adjusted
- the internal game tracker use all master server available (before 1.1rc1, it was using only sv_master1)
- gametype vote are fixed (gameinfo.txt was out of a pk3, my mistake)
- mapcycle vote is available again (in fact it was available in 1.1beta5a, but the server.cfg didn't declare any)
- 2 patchs by The Doctor related to bots

Many people are asking about third party map. They will be available via HTTP auto-download soon on download.smokin-guns.org.



EDIT:
To all NIX user: Please to really participate to our RC1 evaluation, remove any problematic PK3 in your .smokinguns/smokinguns... Firstly you should rename your ~/.smokinguns folder. Then test your installation, if you have tuned your q3config.cfg file, you still can retrieve it from your copy.

Found another old bug:

Sometimes upon connecting to the game, you realize you can't move your mouse left or right, just up and down. And it's impossible to fix it without reconnecting.

Since it happened on dm_alamo2, it's not related to spectating other players, it just sometimes happens and locks player like this from his controls.

It was very much present in 1.0, and still happens in 1.1rc1. There's no real repro case for it, it seems random.

Chat notification sound is weird. Instead of the usual "blip", it is some "blup" now.

Experienced by me on Linux, confirmed by Dike on Win.

Let's post something of minor importance before i forget it: The 'old' version of Alamo Tiny doesn't support a map shot in the menu (same for 1.1b5). Although the rework is unmatched due to a more organic layout (just discovered the grappling hook) and its vidid atmosphere, it'd be a pity to leave the map shot area blank for such a solid and neat map.

Would it be possible to include DM versions of maps made for Baller into the package? Ballers have DM durango for example, among many other BR maps which don't have DM versions in SG1.0. If the work is already done, and isn't proprietary, maybe we should just throw those maps in?

Regarding bots:

1. If you hurt or kill a bot on your own team, he'll still sometimes turn against you the next round. Bots should never under no circumstance teamkill or teamshoot.

2. Bots sometimes retain their weapon when map restarts, carrying it on their back. So it's possible for them to carry two rifles for example, one in the hand, one strapped to the back.

Other:

1. Remi gauge, when you reload it and press fire rapidly, still will sometimes shoot without playing the firing sound at all.

Something funny happens to hotkeys when you are in crouching position.

Hold "C" and try changing weapons with 1-2-3-4-5, impossible. Hold "C" and try reloading, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes guns fire instead.

Other things:

1) in computer of my cousin, in full screen mode, and all resolutions, he gets two black bars (one on the left side and one on the right)

2) Console appear with gray color background.
