Pass through in San Cuchillo

Postby hika » Sat Jun 03, 2006 7:35 pm

When playing in San Cuchillo, I have done something efficient, but it seems to be a bug : I was able to pass through the barriers.
It is easy to reproduce. Perhaps missing collisions in each side ?

Here is a screenshot that show me in a funny position.

... and It is possible to do the same thing in the other balconies.
Hope this helps.

Hmm, the pic isn't loading here. You may want to try Imageshack or Photobucket (registration req'd) instead.

The pic is loading from my connection (I guess it is the same for the other members ...). I just use the upload image system from the forum, that stores files at postimage.org.

Anyway, here is the pic from imageshack :

If the image isn't showing up for you, there is a problem on your end.

Ah, you're right -- postimage doesn't like browsers that aren't sending a User Agent string. Oops.

What browser are you using that wouldn't be sending a user agent string?

Firefox can be configured not to, which is what I do. As to why, let's just leave it at personal preference. :)

Yeah, sometimes Firefox is TOO good. I had to back off my privacy config in Firefox because I wasn't able to do lots of stuff. But, Boy was I protected! 8)

Concerning the bug hika thankfully reported here: I always considered that to be a feature ;). However, I can easily fix that in the map file to make it more realisitic.

Rereleasing the orignal maps will be a big download. I think we are going to wait untill the standalone release for that. We may yet find more bugs and opportunities to make further improvements. Afaik, Backwater will be included in the 2.2 version that we hope to release in the near future.
