I think someone has figured that out on the RAWHIDE server. 8O

Hmmm, maybe I'll soon make news of this feature again for the servers that have it. It seems to be having an affect for RH so far. :D

The Rawhide stats haven't been updated in a couple of days now. I want to see how much my score has improved. Please. :cry:

And while you're on it, L3th4l, you may want to change "water" and "slime" into their WQ counterparts (molotov and Winchester1897 I guess). But don't ask me which is which :mrgreen:

[Edit] Looks like slime is molo and water is the Winchester1897 pump action shotgung[/edit]

You can check one of my previous post in this thread. I have done the mapping between each weapon code and weapon full name.
Here is a sample for MOD_WATER and MOD_SLIME :
Code: Select all
$weaponset['WATER']['name']                    = 'Dynamite';
$weaponset['SLIME']['name']                    = 'Molotov Cocktail';

Then there is some mistake somewhere, because dyna is already in the list ATM and both molo and the winchester are missing ...

Some stuff for you guys to figure out.

I just dicovered something strange while reading the stats.
I did a game yesterday with monSter ,manchot and some others and i saw that their stats weren't count right.

I only can verify this because i've made a screenie (otherwise i don't think i wouldn't' have found out this):

And thats waht the stats page says:

I check the stats too.
All the numbers seem to be right, except =SG=monSter 's score (score 23, kill 22 ?)
For the others, don't forget to check the suicide number as it decreases the score, but sure you already know that ;)
The vsp 's first table ranking can be disturbing since it shows the kills, not the scores.

BTW, what made you take the ranking pic ? Are you collectioning all your ranking ? :)

The reason I've got one more kill on the scoreboard than on the stats page is probably that I killed one of the bots that joined before all players had connected. Can't remember any bots, but they tend to be there the first few seconds. The bot_minplayers check that causes bots to be kicked is only run every ten seconds, if I recall correctly.

And the screenshot also shows that I'm out of practice. :lol:

Oh yeah, you are right. I completely forgot that "our" VSP settings ignore everything related to bots.

Ah yes, i forgot about that bot setting, too. So all seems to be fine. :)

Yes, sure i collect every ranking. I've got an album thicker than the bible! :lol: (just a bit sarcasm...) No, no i don't collect my rankings. I've just made some screenshots that day and this was just one of them.

I even noticed two really strange screenies:

Maybe i made them when the game was loading the textures!?!? 8O

Yes, Files that are in use can't be moved. So the server has to be stopped to free the file, then it can be transfered.. Now, I have never tried VSP, so maybe there is something different about it. I'm going to give it a try today and see what happens..

can you copy to a temp file then work with it?
