With cordite in the air, splintered steel, shell casings and powder burns, there’s only one explanation...
Let's face it, SG could sure use some talented modellers.

I would also add that the model is very accurate and pays high attention to detail. However, animating it to it's true form would make the weapon highly undesirable due to the length of time to reload, not to mention your shooting with inaccurate ball ammo. Nonetheless, a new game type could be spawned from this idea. Where only older weapons are used and all participants are at the same advantage based on that. It could be very interesting.

The grease you used was to prevent a chainfire, when the whole 6 would go off at once! The conversion stopped that, too! 8O Actually, the long barrels on these made them fairly accurate for a ways. The Pocket model however..gambling tables!
Well...Mr. Chain Blue Lightnin' hisself..heh, heh!

Hey- thanks for reminding me what the grease is for Chain. Now that you mentioned it I remeber my Pops saying that a long time aback. Those guns sure did blow some smoke and it was quite fun.

Just a fast render, nothing fancy and the textures are 1024x1024 here, so it will be a bit worse but should be ok in 512. Next week i finish texturing,
but still no animator. :/

That really is impressive, Diop! Gee Red, don't I wish skinning was as easy as assigning materials and texture to solids & 3dfaces in Autocad!
