Yah, that looks fun. Bridges sure gets around. He just got out of an Iron Man suit not long ago. First western Damon has been in since Geronimo, I think. (There's a tallented horse in that movie, too). :D
Well...Mr. Chain Blue Lightnin' hisself..heh, heh!

Btw, I saw this film on New Years Eve. It's a very good movie.

Good western film but I missed some big shootouts like in Open Range (2003):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW1hWRs3 ... age#t=524s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZVid09O ... re=related

They fly like bees after getting bullets and I love that :D BTW is it only 'not quite realistic and probable' or maybe it's simply 'ridiculous'? I have no experience with real powder guns but could imagine that at very close range big shotgun could make 'this kind' of effect, of course not flying 5 meters back like it happens in the film but... maybe at least 1 with legs up the head?

12 guage buckshot at close range has been known to blow peoples body part off. Leg, arm, head...
I'd imagine a shot to the chest would easly knock you off your feet, but I think what you see in Open Range is exaggerated. But I'm no expert in such things.
