possibility of a solution for gtk 1.4 saving trouble

Postby !NuB!Donut » Thu Jan 20, 2011 9:46 pm

After searching the web I found out how to solve the bug when you save maps with Windows Vista or Windows 7.

So here is how it goes.
  1. Open your Radiant 1.4
  2. Go to edit -> preferences -> Layout
    Image
  3. Now click at Use win32 file load dialogue so that it is deselected.

  4. If you save a map it's REALLY IMPORTANT that you write <yourmapname>.map. Really don't forget to wride .map

I hope it will help you and good luck with your maps. :D

Thanks Donut, I was having this issue and this fixed it with my ZeroRadiant 1.6.2, win7 64bit.

The only other solution I had found (which didn't work for me) was to use external drives.
