Weird.

I don't have much ideas where this may come from. Are you sure your video drivers are up to date?
Also make sure the graphics are set to "High Quality" into the "System" tab and that the "Performance" options in the "Game Options" tab are mostly set correctly.

The black sky may come from the "Low Quality Sky" option and the missing fire/explosions may be the "Marks On Walls", "Particles" or "Detailed Gunsmoke" option.

If it does not work, the only suggestion I may have might be to delete the q3config.cfg file into your "%APPDATA%/Smokin' Guns" folder (on Windows).

Hope it helps.

Mhh, at least the sky is no more black (don't know if it was one of the issue).

I've thought about it for a while and my only other idea might be some conflicting files that would mess around the game. It's a poor suggestion and I welcome anybody to get something better.

So, if you are sure you run the 1.1 version, I'd suggest to try to remove all pk3 files that are not directly related to the game initial files.
It includes the ones in your %APPDATA% and anything differently named than included_fanpak0.pk3, pak0.pk3 an sg_pak0.pk3.
I think the bow (and possibly other files) might cause some troubles, the weapon never got far into development and it is likely that it overrides some files; hence causing your troubles.

Here is the list of the default files as a reference.

The black sky wasn't one of issue.I changed it only before recording.I deleted bow file in smokinguns directory and no more weapon bugs. But how i managed to download the file if it's not the default file?

Oh, my bad. I thought it was part of the problem too. Good.

Sometimes it happens that a server has some required extra pk3 files for some reasons (modding, added map, server side tools, etc).

Instead of just being denied to play if it does not have all pk3 files, the player will download those missing pk3 and store them in %APPDATA% when connecting.
This method also ensures that the player has all the required files and that it loaded only the identical ones. This is probably why you did not have the same problem when connecting on an unmodified "pure" server but things would go all over the place locally. (pure server would force the matching of loaded pk3s, and locally you are the server, hence loading all pk3 alphabetically).

From where exactly? I was unable to spot another online server that had this file in it's download list. This is a mystery.
