Train hesitation

Postby DeUgli » Mon Jun 09, 2008 8:09 pm

When walking in Train, I get a hesitation at key points. This happens even when I play single player on my own machine with no bots. Doesn't happen in the previous version. Doesn't happen in Dry Gulch in the new version.

Yup, you can't walk the full length of a traincar without stopping for a split second.

The Train map hasn't changed from the previous version. (There was discussion of an update, but it depends on whether or not Lethal has time for it.) Might be an introduced engine bug, but it sounds like the "stutter" problem I used to have in Coyote Bluff that was caused by a lack of sufficient cluster portals. (Aids bot navigation.) But like I said, Train hasn't changed so maybe it's something else? :?:
