Leaning and bandaging require way too much work for our small group. We already discussed bandaging and decided against it. A small stamina thing is being implemented I believe. Nobody has mentioned taking away the ability to reload while climbing ladders though. We might look at that in the future but it's doubtful it will make it into our first patch.

Has a Capture The (Add) gametype been suggested before? Basically two teams with two objectives to retrieve, could be arms or even whisky crates! Anything!

Also what about an Assault gametype, like an old fort?

After the first patch, our coders will be busy making the standalone version. If that goes quickly, they'll be waiting on the mappers to finish their projects. Maybe they might consider something like this if they end up with some free time.

And what would be if you couldn't shoot on ladder either? When you were climbing, it would take your weapon automatically. Or you were only able to use one small revoler, not rifles, nor two guns.

Hi,

I like El's suggestions. You need one arm to climb a ladder. So you're still able to use single-handed weapons. It doesn't make sense that you can use akimbo colts while climbing but I don't want to be defenseless either .

That sound's pretty cool, hadn't thought of that, you could still move with one hand and climb. Single pistol's only on a ladder and no reloading

i have 2 ideas dont know if they can be used or not
1. how about a sprint short burst of speed
2. smaller aim sight like maybe just a dot
i say this because with the bigger sight i am having problems with head shots and such

Don't know if this requires lots of work, because it is sure that should not be able to sprint a lot successively ... say a sprint every 5 seconds.
So, I can imagine that a sort of timer is needed when coding this feature, and why not some loud breathing sound, after every sprint.
However, I like this idea.

Hey, me too have some suggestion for the futur
I'm thinking about having a pistol in one hand, and a molotov or dynamite in the other.
Perhaps this can be implemented by having a new possible couple of weapons in the "2" button.
In that way, some expert player can throw a dynamite and shoot it in the air.

Haha! I like that idea, hika ... However, you must be hell of a western quaker if you can shoot a dyna you have just thrown yourself!

Being a big fan of molos I sometimes wished that they burn longer. Lets say twice as long as now or even longer. They could be used tactically then, for instance to block a passage in BR mode.

BTW: are we still comteplating a new pricing system in order to alleviate the mismatch of some weapons?

I shoot on ladders all the time on wq_train. if you cant shoot while on a ladder, then you are at a dissadvantage on that map. also shooting out the window while on the ladder on wq_town wouldnt be possible.
