EDIT Button in some forums

Usually, one can edit his own postings. I usually try to get rid of the most embarrassing typos this way even if the posting is 6 months old
However, in some forums (i.e. beta2.2) I can't do that. Any special reason why?

That's just in case anyone tried to edit out something (days, weeks or even months later) that we'd prefer they didn't! We could lose some imprtant info that way. As you've noticed, it only applies to certain forums. If there's anything in particular post that you'd like to change I'll be glad to fix it for you.
