ChainLightnin'

Postby DeUgli » Sat Mar 15, 2008 11:18 pm

I was flying over Montana yesterday on my way back to Seattle, when I spotted ChainLightnin' up in the hills. It's a little hard to see, but if you follow the orange arrow, you can see him skinning a grizzly bear he killed with a Bowie knife.

Gee, it didn't load the way it should. :? I uploaded it again in a smaller version, hoping it would enlarge, but it isn't working right.
Guess it kind of spoils the joke... What did I do wrong?

I'd like to see it, too! That was one big bear! I was shootin' apples out of a tree, and didn't see him. :lol: (I'm trying to figure where the little photo is of).
Well...Mr. Chain Blue Lightnin' hisself..heh, heh!

Click edit and use the "upload image" link and upload the large version. It will automagicly enter the bbcode and create the thumbnail

Thanks for the advice. I had already done all that correctly. What I didn't know was that postimage hates Firefox or one of the add-ons I have for it. I switch IETab to IE and it uploaded correctly.

I use FF and don't have a problem, must be one of your addons..

<offtopic>
I use IEtab too, I love it.. Being a web designer it's great to be able to switch between FF/IE on the fly to make sure everything is uniform in both browsers.. :D

Interesting basin right there. Can't figure where that is. Think we got even more snow after that. (If you'd zoomed in more we couldn't lie about the bear!) :D

The GPS screen showed the plane as somewhere east of Helena.
Be funny if it was Little Big Horn.

I went on google earth and scanned the country east of Helena until I saw a place with somewhat similar geography. Get this, I zoomed in and it was called "Bear Gulch". :lol:
