Got'em Pard, thanks! Heh, since I've started br_coyotebluff I have to fix 2 maps at the same time now! The br conversion is going smoothly. I am very, very hopeful of a July 16th release. 8)

Found another stuck point.
It happened only when we walk up
Image

Found some graphic problem, when hiding in a carriage.
Perhaps, it can be fixed if the carriage is larger to higher the top when hiding ?
I don't know if players can see one hiding, because of some kind of clipping problem ...

That's the overturned mine cart in the caves right? I can try to make it a little bigger.

The file size is 17mb now but that's because the br version is included in the download. The DM map has been updated too so you need the whole thing anyway. I still have a few decorations I want to add, like DeUgli's rocking chair & some lamps, so this will not be the final product. Are the spawnpoints good? Money location good? Please try all gametypes and report. Enjoy. :)

The night time BR map looks great, Red. Nice thunder sounds!
I found a bot path problem in the DM map. The bot gets stuck on the side of the tracks and the falling scream plays over and over.

I noticed the same thing tonight. :? I should also mention that the bots, while bad in dm, are truly horrible for br. I'm not going to waste much time getting them better either. I will try to fix that particular spot though. Btw, I tried another skeleton model but it was so crappy I just decided to give up on the idea.

Sorry to remind you these, Red. :?
I still find some stuck points :

In both DM and BR mode (perhaps you have forgotten this one) :

The followings exist in BR mode only :

I just see that these last two points are fixed in DM, since the time I have shown you these.

ReD NeCKersoN wrote:while bad in dm, are truly horrible for br

Sure they are :)
They also have some problems about opening the door in the house, and get stuck in.

The map in BR map is just what I expected : Awesome, nice sounds and light fires.
I can't wait to test the BR mode with human players.
Good work, man

I played through one match of round-teamplay on wq_coyotebluff and one match of bank robery on br_coyotebluff. I have one comment so far: could you remove the snake and the mountain cat sounds/hurt? There isnt any money there and seems kinda sill to be getting hurt for no reward. Is it possible to remove something for team roundplay and not team deathmatch?

I really like the change of scenery of this map. Much different from the standard desert town maps.

@ Manchot: Thanks man! Hmm, seems I lost track of what got clipped and what didn't. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention. The real beauty of nearly identical maps is copy/paste. Maybe a few testers can get together this coming weekend to give it a go? I'll see about having a new version (with fixes) by Saturday. (Sorry Pardner!)

@ Pardner: Gee, I never thought about this. I believe you are right for RTP & it loses it's novelty in DM rather quickly anyway. I think I can compromise.

The EDIT button: I think I purposely deactivated that for the tester sections. I have my reasons. Don't worry about double posting. Not an issue.

I noticed a missing wav file (see console) by the overturned stagecoach. It's actually just a mistyped file path and already fixed for next update.
