when i downloaded western q3 after i extracted files into q3 folder, how do i play it? There is nothing to click to get into the game. i really wanna play this game. any1 help?

simply, open quake 3 and choose "western quake 3" at the "mods" menu...
this should work, if you don't have an old version of quake 3

This is a convenience method I use to get into Western.

First, locate your Western Quake.bat file. Right click it, and send it to desktop as shortcut. You will now have a direct shortcut to Western! I noticed the ICI guys included 2 .ico files with the last Beta release, you can switch your icon to one of those for an authentic-looking shortcut. If you do not the shorcut on desktop, just cut and paste it into your "Start" menu next to original Quake 3.

I have found that using this shortcut also eliminates some mixing between standard Quake 3's, and Western mod's sound files. I have played Quake 3 to find that the sounds from Western are there! I do not have this problem with the shorcut.
