I have a question for you. Do you know the muffin man?
Seriously though, I just reinstalled Quake3... installed the 1.3 (whatever the newest quake3 patch was).. then after that (and testing the game to make sure it worked) I installed the exe version of Beta 2.0.. I set my settings etc etc.. Now here comes the hair puller.. When I tried to start the game in either single player or multiplayer, the game freezes at the "Starting Game..." screen. I can, though, hit ESC and go back to the settings/etc screen. Any idea what could be causing this?

Pentium 4 2.40GHz
512 ram
Geforce4 128 ram
