Howdy,
I just tried loading Western Quake3 last night on a G5 w/ATI 9600XT (Mac OS X 10.3.7), and it won't load. (this used to work on my old G4)
FWIW, I tried clearing the Q3 config, reinstalling WQ from scratch, and loading from the terminal. Here is where it appears to choke:
