Mods in general

I have recently bought Q3 and I am clueless as to how to install mods. I have not found any documentation anywhere. Where do I put the files after I have downloaded them and when I try to load the missionpack in the MOD section on the menu screen the monitor turns yellow and it dumps me to the desktop. I am running this on a beige G3 using OS 9.2

Usually You just unzip the downloaded .zip file into your quake3 directory.
After that you should have a subdirectory in your q3 dir that has the same (or a shortened) name as teh mod. For wq3 that means that you unzip the wq3b12full.zip into your q3 dir and after that you should have a western folder where all the wq3 files are in. Usually you load a mod just by pressing the mods button in the q3 main menu and selecting the mod you want to load.
