My impression was that our first game starts at 19:00 o'clock Saturday. Was it changed again?

First game is at 12 gmt -4
Central europe= France, Germany, Poland etc= GMT +2 (summertime)

So, first game starts at 18.00h in Europe

Thats correct.

I have updated the tourney page to reflect the recent changes. I noticed that some teams are down to 2 or 3. Maybe they can combine to make full teams. ( I will be sending out PMs to those teams.)

Q3Mon is lying. MonsterBrowser & sparcdr say Canada. ;)
Plus my ping would be noticeably higher if it were in California.

Hi folks,

I was hoping for a last minute sign up but I'll be travelling today and can't join the tourney  ... its all a mess with getting a new job, moving again and other things that keep me away from this little hobby here.

I wish you all GREAT games and tons of fun!

Cheers

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5791 and visit my site http://www.deviantptr.net and note country flag (Maple leaf) on right side of address bar field.
See the listing of all domains our server hosts and the address of the IP range owner: http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/hosted?ne ... .38.12.159
Check the whois for the IP (Which shows ISP netrange): http://whois.domaintools.com/70.38.12.156
See a recent blog post about their datacenter: http://blog.iweb.com/en/2009/04/iweb-te ... /2387.html
Note that this other site to check country is wrong: http://geotool.servehttp.com/ (Says Wisconsin, not Canada and not Los Angeles and no ISP listed)

Good games all. Very fun tourney this year. I have updated the tourney page with all the final scores and of course.... CONGRATS mS clan!!!!

I will be updating the tourney page some more to include all the demos that were taken. If you have demos and you would like to submit them, you can email them to me pardners @ smokin-guns.net

Lastly, I would love some feedback. I know there will be some complaining about how the server had a bad ping, but maybe someone will suggest a good alternative way to avoid bad pings.

I would suggest:

First rounds could be played separate europa'teams / america's team.
Then, europa/america match, could have two match (5 round a match), first in europa, second in america. Same for the final.

(if someone understand me... anyway, i understand myself :) )
