stuff I noticed isnt in the game...

i noticed while watching the Outro (the video when you quit SG) that there is some stuff i havnt seen in any levels... such as:
a forest level
a lake (which i understand isnt in this build due to errors)
an exploding Bridge
an exploding tower

those looked so awesome! are they in the game (besides the lake) and am i just not looking hard enough? or have they been removed for some reason?

the wooden bridge is in map backwater
the rest of them i don't remember, but i am sure they are in the game.

Yeah, the exploding bridge is on backwater.
The exploding tower is in the Lake map, the forest too and it may be released for the next update ;)
Btw you still can explode a tower in the Tiny Alamo map.

I have been working on the Lake map today & it is almost fixed. Just 2 more problems to solve that I see. I think I can safely say this level WILL be included in the next release. :)

I have fond memories of playing against bots on Lake. For some reason they always seem to end up in the water.

I haven't been playing enough lately to even notice that Lake was missing. :lol: But it's a different kind of map, and great fun too :D, so I'm looking forward to playing on it again!

I'll have to think about it. Last time we did something like this the forum was flooded with posts by people, who don't bother to read the news, saying they can't connect to servers because they were missing the map. :? (Takes too long to autodownload from the server if that feature is enabled.) So I don't know.

ah, alright then

on a similar subject, i noticed theres a Maps download section on the Downloads page, but nothing there, maybe that would be a good place to put such maps, then people may actually think

Yes, just checked, I found the fixes applied for that bugs to ioQuake3 source (r803 & r804) was also applied to Smokin' Guns 1.0 engine.

I use that reference to check it.
