Howdy,

Some people blustered me and some of my friends with clientkicks...
but what's that?
I got the impression that's nothing special, but i want to become resolved.

It is just a regular kick (no ban). The reason its used is if I did:

/callvote kick a.k47

you could easily avoid being kicked by renaming to something different. But if I did:

/serverstatus

I would see something like:

0    0      0     "Pardner"
1    0      0     "Sentenza"
2    0      0     "a.k47"
3    0      0     "Unknown"

Then I could do

Code: Select all

/callvote clientkick 2

and there isn't anything you can do to avoid being kicked because the kick is based off your client number. If someone is having to kick you via client number then there is definitely some misbehavior on the server, so don't be surprised if you see an admin on the rampage! (just make sure your not on the receiving end)

The numbers in /serverstatus are the wrong numbers to use for clientkick. The correct numbers can only be seen by someone with rcon (moderator) access. Please do not attempt to use clientkick, you will probably not be trying to kick the right person.

You can try to bruteforce the clientnum as spectator with /follow cid
