Hi Fenris, I see that TheDoctor is overdue at answering your question ...
I suppose you've taken the screenshot in Baller Bude, where different roles and levels for server administration are present. One of these is "Investigator". That's all for now.

Correct. It refers to a role/a level between regular players and moderators and affects which BBB commands you can use. Being an investigator enables you to look up information about players both on- and offline, but you cannot warn or penalize players. Here's a list of commands and the level at which they become available:

Code: Select all
Commands available for moderators and above (at least level 40):
!warn NAME REASON          -- creates a warning for a given player, providing a reason.
!warn NAME DURATION REASON -- creates a warning for a given player for the given duration, providing a reason.
!warnremove NAME           -- removes the last warning for a player of given NAME, if it was created by

Commands available for investigators and above (at least level 20):
!admins                    -- lists all connected admins
!iptoasn IP                -- looks up the provider number (autonomous system number) for a given IP
!clientinfo NAME           -- prints various info on a given player. Special cases are !warninfo and !baninfo
!lookup NAME               -- lists up to 50 players whose names or previous names match the given NAME
!lookup guid GUIDPREFIX    -- lists up to 50 players whose GUIDs match the given GUIDPREFIX
!lookup ip IPPREFIX        -- lists up to 50 players whose last IPs match the given IPPREFIX
!lookup asn ASNUMBER       -- lists up to 50 players last connected via the given provider number
!penalty list NAME KEYWORD -- lists all penalties of a player with the given KEYWORD. KEYWORD is optional

Commands available for regular users and above (at least level 2):
!list                      -- list slots, DBIDs, names, alises and providers of all players online
!find NAME                 -- looks up the slot for a player, if online
!seen NAME                 -- displays when a player was last seen

Commands available for registered users and above (at least level 1):
!maps                      -- lists all available maps
!nextmap                   -- shows the content of the nextmap variable
!time                      -- displays the server time (CET/CEST)
!regtest                   -- displays your level
!spree                     -- checks whether or not you are on crime spree (>5 kills in a row)
!penalty                   -- lists all your penalties
!alias NAME                -- lists all aliases of a player
!demos NAME                -- lists all available/recorded demos of this player
!testscore NAME            -- calculates how many points you get for killing a given player
!xlrstats                  -- shows your xlrstats
!xlrstats NAME             -- shows the xlrstats of a given player
!xlrtopstats               -- lists the top ten players
!spamins NAME              -- shows the noise level of a given player
!greeting GREETING         -- sets your custom greeting
!greeting none             -- clears your custom greeting

Commands available for all players:
!help                      -- list all available commands
!help COMMAND              -- show some help on a given command
!register                  -- registers yourself to become a user (level 1)
