You may know or not, we just have to uncomment one line in sources to have Ogg vorbis codec support in the engine (linux version at least, win32 will have to support OpenAL, and will I guess).
So sound mainteners can check if that could be interesting to encode some sound in ogg vorbis for the future of SG. I think essentially of background musics that could become less large in such a codec.
