Peace, flowers, and BR @ Somewhere server

Postby El vAkonD » Tue Jul 12, 2005 12:02 pm

Today, (as always) my friends and i are going to play some fun bank robbery at the german somewhere server. But it would be much better, if a lot of other people came too. I've already showed wq3 to all my friends, maybe if others do this, there'll be more players on the wide-wild-west.
So bring a friend along, or two, or a dozen, and your dog, grandmother and everybody to fill up the server totally. :)

I hope at least the main playing folk will join us today.

I forgot to tell, the time is in CET (Central European Time). GMT+1.

I will probably join for a while. Not for the full six hours, but still... The time shows as 6:01pm - 11:59pm for me, I have time zone set to gmt+2 (CET DST). So that would be 5:01pm - 10:59 pm in CET. Is that what you gmt+1 guys get? I'm trying to confirm that the times are actually converted.

For Americans with gmt-6 it should then say 10:01am - 4:01pm. So not likely that we'll see many of those guys.

We neither stay six hours long, only if there will be many players..

I don't think it's converted, 'cause i set 18:01 in CET, it wasn't changed. So it is 19:01 in your time zone and 11:01 am in gmt-6. Pff...why cant everybody live in the same place?

PiKK dont forget to bring a friend along you. :)

Strange there's no conversion. All the other times are converted on this forum. But the calendar is a plugin, guess that's why it doesn't behave like the rest of the forum.

Hey, it was fun, we played some great 3v3 and 2v2 ..
Sadly only dolny came from here, luckily others had been already there.
The calender didnt helped much, but maybe it'll other time .. for example at the weekend, when ReD NeCKersoN and others can come too.

I played earlier. The last few hours I've been busy fixing bugs.

But maybe it would help if you specified the time more exactly ? Like only one or two hours, instead of six. You could still continue playing after the time specified.

Yes, more and more americans are showing up in the servers the last few weeks. Weekends will be the best chance for the world to come together for some action. And the calendar will only work well when we have more forum users. :) So ask people you meet in the game to visit here!
PS. I really wish I could have joined today. :(

More players are playing = cool. I have to buy a new mouse and mousepad though, before I will be able to play. Also, a test script erased all my binds so I can't even draw/change any weapon with my keyboard - I'm going to change it when I get back from holiday. Happy shooting ;)

When i've set the 6 hours, i've just wanted to show, we'll be on the server for a long time, and everybody is welcome there. But you know, in the time-interval the start is the important. ;p Never mind, perhaps the next party'll be bigger. :)

By the way, we played some happy round yesterday evening too, i've already cleaned my guns for the weekend .. Beware amigos!
