You could say when/if people point that out to you, "so? It's a Steampunk basement! Shut up!" :D

Nah, but seriously, my suggestion for the crates is when you duplicate the brush, resize it! The texture scale will stay the same (or at least it will if Texture Lock->Scale is turned off - there's a setting for that, right?) and you'll resize the box until it becomes only one of the boxes of a mass.

That's my suggestion anyway. I'm in a hurry, so the other will have to be answered by others more knowledgeable than me.

With the face of a brush selected, press S on your keyboard to bring up the surface inspector. You can adjust the texture any way that you like.

i know that. ;)
but my problem is a bit different, i use to set my texture scale mostly the fit button, the walls on the pictures are set by hand, in the radiant looks everying allright, but ingame are these texture errors... :<

I got that strange behaviour too, at the begining... Don't trust too much "fit" button on surfaces that are non-axial... sometime it works, sometime not, so you have to edit this by yourself...

For "sv_brushmodel NULL": you have an empty entity (an entity that doesn't have any brush), probably a Radiant's bug. You have to either find this entity in your .map file with a text editor... or to restart from a backup of your map (I hope you have backup ;) ), then merging into this backup all the geometry you have done until now (to do it, select brushes in your map, save them as "prefab", open a safe backup, import those prefab into it).
Or if you are lucky: just select the whole map and save it as prefab, start a new map and merge this prefab into it: the empty entity will probably have gone...
