The moment many of you have been waiting for has come. By the end of next week we should be able to launch our Betatest. Therefore we are searching for Betatesters. Everybody who is interested in testing wq3 should join our IRC channel #westernq3 on irc.enterthegame.com .

If you want to test it is important that you can often be in our IRC channel because that is the easiest and fastest way to coordinate testing.

Notes :
Most of Team ICI are from Europe and thus we are usually online between 14.00 and 23.00 CET (that's from 8am to 5pm EST).

The download will be about 120 megs.

It would be good if some people running a Linux or a Mac system could test wq3, too. So if you have a Mac or a Linux computer you will be most likely accepted for betatesting.

Oh, and I almost forgot : You need Quake 3

Obviously, I can't be on IRC at the same time as you guys but I do check the forum daily. My server runs XP PRO and I have 6 WQ3 fans that would LOVE to play the beta test on it. If that's out of the question, I would still like to test it on any server you may be running for it. Maybe you don't need my services, but if you do.......drop this WQ3 fan a line at sped66@excite.com

Ok, we could definitely use some more testers, so everybody interested in testing come and join our channel.

Nixon : If you want to test you have to join our IRC channel. We need guys that are present there, so that we can talk to them. So just join the chan and say that you want to test. Perhaps you can bring one our two other people of you clan, but we won't give the version to more then 2 or 3 people of the same clan.
Oh and btw. RedNeckerson is in. He'll get the test version for sure, so maybe he should be the one rolling on floor

YEEHAW!!!! I anxiously wait for the download! I should be in your channel on Saturday to say hello and hopefully get the beta. If it's not ready yet, then maybe a few of us can play version 1.2? My brother is here for the weekend and brought his pc over to LAN with me....so we will be ready for a challenge.

Would love to betatest Western QUake 3 2.0

I am an american and thus IRC wouldnt be much use to me given the off hours between my work schedule and yours.

However, i would love to test during USA off hours, and email any beta reports if that is acceptable.

Been testing and playin games for 10 years.
